We are looking for a procurement professional ready to operate as a Value Architect — engaging upstream, challenging demand and specifications, integrating supplier innovation, and contributing to OaaS engagements that are measured on financial outcomes. This is a remote-first role. The work is intellectually demanding. The commercial model is outcome-based — which means your impact is visible and measurable, not buried in a deck.
You will
Lead Value Architecture engagements — upstream involvement, specification challenge, demand redesign
Operate the Procurement Diagnostic — assess adaptive capacity positioning, quantify fragility debts and value gaps, anchor outcome contracts
Develop and maintain supplier ecosystems and innovation pipelines for clients
Contribute to the KOL content programme — frameworks, delusions series, architecture briefings
Apply the AI Intelligence Layer appropriately — in sequence, after simplification
You may be a good fit if you have
8+ years in procurement, with demonstrable upstream involvement (design, specifications, make-or-buy)
Experience managing €50M+ spend portfolios across complex categories
Ability to operate in the CFO conversation — financial framing, EBITDA, working capital
Fluency in at least two European languages (English required)
Intellectual seriousness: ability to challenge orthodoxy and defend positions with evidence
Bonus points for
Experience with value engineering, design-to-cost, or total cost modelling
Understanding of AI tools in procurement and their appropriate sequencing
Background in industries with complex direct spend (manufacturing, energy, life sciences)
We are building the methodology and the commercial model that defines what procurement advisory becomes in the AI era. If you want to be at the front of that transition — not writing about it but doing it — we would like to speak.
Compensation
Outcome-linked compensation structure. Details discussed individually.
